Biography
Basic One is a group from the Island Aruba.
Their music is a combination of reggae, dancehall, hiphop, r&b and caribbean music styles.
Similar their songs are in english, spanish, dutch and papiamento.
They were founded in 1991 by Janiro Eisden (a.k.a. Patin Pret)and Dino Dirks. In 1994 Dino Dirks is replaced by Kurt Labadie (Dj K.D.).
In 1995 their score a big hit with "Suave". They became very popular on the islands of Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire and in the Netherlands.
In the summer 2007 they brought out a new cd with the title "Masterlijk."
