Biography
A Dutch Jazz Trio formed around the famous drummer John Engels. John played for example with Stan Getz, Clifford Brown, Ben Webster & Chet Baker. He is rewarded with the Bird-Award on North Sea Jazz Festival in 1985, the Boy Edgar Price in 1989 and received 6 Edisons for his records
Barnicle Bill Trio are Mark Haanstra (acoustic bass guitar), John Engels (drums), Miguel Martinez (alto sax).
