Biography
DJ Will & Bryan Wright met in the East Village of NYC one night, decided to collaborate on music, started grooving on a loop from an old Jean Carn record, and something good was born. Countless dizzying years later, they have vocal house projects on Kult, PeaceBisquit/Curve, Buzzin Fly, Definity, and Chillifunk; tracks and remixes on King Street, KID, Inspira, A Touch Of Class, and Captivating Records; and music licensed all over the world to Classic in the U.K., other labels all over Europe, and in Japan and South Africa.
Automagic's house sound has been described as "Electro-Soul," and "Dubby Disco." Automagic would say their musical style is informed by Loft/Garage, a deep appreciation for dub reggae, an emphasis on songwriting and innovative arrangement, and a need to explore new territories in sound.
