Biography
Audentia was a 4-piece post-rock group that was formed in Niagara Falls, Canada by bassist Dalton Jodoin and drummer Tyler Colley in February of 2011. Very quickly they recruited Maranda Mackay to play guitar, and Sebastian Burgi, also on guitar. They released their first self-titled demo on May 8th 2011. However in October of the same year, Colley and Mackay left the group due to creative differences. Missing half of the line-up, Burgi and Jodoin decided to end the group and pursue other projects.
Audentia saw light again in 2014, with all future releases being on Not Exactly Home Records.
With changes from Indie/Post-Rock to a more ambient style, the group hopes to put out more releases in recent times. All of Audentia's previous work was lost, and they are forced to start anew.
