"Masquerade" is the first promotional single from American pop singer Ashley Tisdale's second studio album, Guilty Pleasure. The song was released on June 15, 2009 along as the first promotional single and second released song from the album as apart of iTunes' exclusive "Countdown to Guilty Pleasure". It was announced that the second single from the album was either going to be "Masquerade" or "Crank It Up", but they would eventually go with the latter of the two.
