Biography
Ash West-Mullen was born in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham in 1984. He has had such an ordinary life, there is very little to say about him other than he is mostly preoccupied with arranging noises until they sound nice.
Having started out in a young and hopeful quartet called State of the Nation, who released their first and only studio album 'Everything Burns a Little Brighter' in 2002, he has since gone on to play in several bands including The Health & Safety Executive, Gen, Union Station Massacre and Alright the Captain until writing and recording his first serious solo material in late 2008.
By April 2009 Ash West-Mullen had written and recorded four EP's for the underground electronica net label Dedpop.co.uk but as yet they are unreleased.
His music is hard to place in any one genre but it contains elements of pop, ambient electronica and experimental post-rock.
