Biography
Matthew and Sean decided to make a song using the power of the Internet. They liked it so much they decided to make a whole bunch of them.
Based in California, Matthew Parsons has played in a number of bands including the Basement Party, the Chance Raspberries and the folk brother-sister duo Everything Is Ready. He has also played on tour with mewithoutYou. Matthew is the chief songwriter of Ars Heroica, playing guitar, bass, drums, glockenspiel, and your heartstrings.
Lyricist, vocalist, violinist and mouth-organist Sean McCarron is based in Southern Ontario, Canada, and is a former member of the now defunct ska band Destroy All Robots. McCarron teamed up with Parsons and former Destroy All Robots member Brad Loree, also known as the electronic music artist "Silverfox", to form Ars Heroica. Other former Destroy All Robots members and acoustic singer-songwriters Ben Oakey and Greg McIntyre helped write songs for their debut album, "Cold & Fire".
