Argan is a Berber electro group from southern Morocco. The groups' name is the name of a small tree that exists widely in the Souss Region of Morocco where the band is from (and in a tiny part of Mexico.) This tree symbolizes their Berber heritage. Argan found a way to integrate 'arab' vocals and rhythms not only with rock guitars or drum and base but with imaginative electronic effects as well.
