Ape is Lying is an American reggae/rock fusion band from South California. Formed at the University of California, Riverside, Ape Is Lying consists of members Trevor Caskey, Arjun Kahlon, Daniel Lesserman, and Martin Griffin. A detailed look at the band's style shows influences in reggae acts such as Sublime and Rebelution as well as punk acts such as blink-182 and Goldfinger. The band is presently quite underground and is working on a debut album expected to be released in the Fall of 2010.
