Biography
Antares Sky (2003–2005)
Rising from San Antonio’s post-hardcore underground, Antares Sky carved out a name with their raw, electric, unpredictable live sound. Though their time was brief, they made a lasting impression—releasing a gritty promo CD and landing opening slots for heavyweights like Ratt, Whitesnake, and even Iron Maiden. Their home base was Sin 13, a now-defunct venue where they became a regular force in the city’s heavy music scene. The band quietly dissolved in 2005, but their story didn’t end there. Years later, they resurfaced with a new project, Cue the Credits, carrying their legacy forward before parting ways once again. Though short-lived, Antares Sky remains a spark in the memory of San Antonio’s early 2000s heavy scene.
