Biography
Roger Mike, who serves as Minister of Music at numerous churches in Central Florida, has been married for 34 years and has four children. He revered for his dedication to the art of making beautiful music.
Born and raised in Winter Park, Florida, Roger learned to play the piano at the young age of seven. He has had the honor of accompanying on piano, numerous great gospel singers such as Sister Roberta, the Late Brother Joe Mays, Little Richard, and the great Late Reverend James Cleveland.
Roger’s musical skills haven been illustrated through his participation and organization of the Winter Park Boys Chorus. This 35 voice chorus group has traveled extensively in the south of the United States, won many awards and performed on several television and radio shows.
The “Tribute of Love- “A Wedding Album” is the first completed commercial musical project for Roger. He has just completed a CD with the Youth Choir of his church “Anointed Praise” and the titled of the CD is “Giving Him My Best”. It is an awesome praise and worship CD. The purpose of the CD is to promote Education for our youth. Roger’s ultimate vision as he puts it “is to create beautiful, wondrous music that touches the soul, and bring us (humans) together - together in this global world.”
