Biography
Annulliert is not actually a band but a "one man realm of sound, emotion and wisdom". It has been started by Ingus Ingrimm in 2008 in Berlin, Germany to "express a solitary mind having no soul but the experiences of a long life".
"Annulliert" is German for "Nullified". Ingrimm says: "Everything will be revoked some day. A name and a life are nothing. We'll have some moments of understanding and vibration. Afterwards returns the frostiness. Get what you can and listen."
The style of Metal Annulliert plays is called "Grey Metal". Ingrimm describes it as "Metal for the elder men. The veterans. It's Metal for who knows what life and dead are all about. It's like Black Metal without Satan, Death Metal without snuff. It's Metal without words."
Annulliert reject any political ideas or the notion of trueness. "Grey metal does not support political ideas, is not preaching to follow any leaders or parties, does not discuss the worth of historical wars or the adventage of this society or the other. Grey metal is post war, it's like walking through ruins, like counting debris, like celebrating a frozen time. Fuck off with your -isms!"
The band releases no CDs but collections of MP3s. A first EP was released in fall 2008, "Eis und Zeit" ("Ice and Time").
