Amilton Godoy (born as Amilton Teixeira de Godói in Bauru/SP - Mar 2, 1941). Virtuose of piano, he established, in 1964, the Zimbo Trio, with Rubinho Barsotti (drums) and Luiz Chaves (bass), with which it plays since then.
In 1973, to the side of the another integrants of the Zimbo Trio, he established the school of music CLAM (Free Center of Musical Learning), where it develops an important work in the formation of new musicians.
He is member of the Committee Technician of the Free University of Music "Tom Jobim" (São Paulo) and director of the courses of formation of the Semana Guiomar Novaes.
