The Beat Is… (released as The Spell in Denmark) is the second studio album by Danish band Alphabeat. It was released on 26 October 2009 by Copenhagen Records.
The album is a departure from the pop roots of their debut studio album, in favour of dance acts from the 1990s such as Snap! and Black Box. The album was originally set to be released in the United Kingdom one week after the original Danish release, but was eventually released on 1 March 2010, followed by the second single, Hole in My Heart.
