Aloonaluna is Lynn Fister's recording project. Lynn started doing solo recordings in 2008 in Panacea, Florida and Tallahassee, Florida, integrating found sound samples with acoustic instruments. Soon Lynn started collaborating with singer-songwriter harp player Caitlin Dunn, french bassist and guitar player Thierry Penduff, multi-instrumentalist William Chase and percussionist Robbie Goethe. Together, under the same moniker, these band members recorded a split 7in with fellow Tallahassee band Starry Crowns late 2009. A double-disc self-titled album followed suit in late 2010.

Lynn, recently relocated to San Francisco, California is working on a second full-length album under the same moniker. These songs will be solo works, and it is tentatively entitled "Bunny." This particular solo album marks a more ambient approach to Aloonaluna, as a currently solo project.
