Spiritual Instinct is the sixth studio album by Alcest, released on 24 October 2019 by Nuclear Blast.
The album was written in bursts both during and after a prolonged period of touring in support of their previous album, Kodama (2016, Prophecy Productions).
As Neige said about this new release, “It is a very cathartic record—something needed to get out of me. It’s darker than usual, and heavier.”
