She's is definitely a pop princess, I heard her in Obsessed Everyone laughed at her, now she is one of the best pop girls of this generation.

omg people are soooooo annoying about her. “she’s not real” “she’s constructed” “her team made her” babe this is pop music! she’s a celebrity! if u think celebrities are #authentic that’s on you for being naive. she’s making music that’s fun and cohesive and you’re sitting on your couch writing performative essays about your ~~extensive and ~~~obscure music knowledge to feel superior over an intangible audience. no one gaf!

the album eats so much when you’re not trying to be a stubborn bitch crying about her being a tiktoker

people are also on her ass for meeting trump and being a zionist even though they are very obviously falling for false info 🕊️💔

"The term 'industry plant' commonly refers to musicians who quickly find success, regardless of skill or merit, and describe themselves as self-made and independent despite being heavily supported by a record label or having other resources and connections to the music industry that they intentionally hide." She was also a famous influencer beforehand, so she didn't just "appear out of nowhere"... it's not really "glazing" to state her past.

The people who co-wrote her album are pretty open about it, and Addison is too. What kind of help or connections is she really HIDING to seem so naturally organic? Like, sure, you can dislike her as a person, but you shouldn't be calling someone an industry plant when it's not actually the case.

If you told me 5 years ago that Addison Rae would become a more interesting pop act than artists like Ariana Grande or Doja Cat, I wouldn't have believed you

people keep on using the tiktoker card as way to discredit her work but i think what she's doing is pretty impressive and i mean it. it's not like paris or kylie doing music but addison (both the album and the artist) is on another level. she managed to evoke from britney to madonna and lana del rey with her sound but not in a copycat kinda way, but imprinting her own style instead.

I think she is way overhated even now during her peak. Whilst a lot of criticisms of her actions in the past are completely valid and some could even be seen as inexcusable, people tend to forget people can in fact grow within those years …….. Plus i’m sorry male artists will literally be abusers and have dedicated fans still so a part of me doesn’t care as much lmaoooo. You can tell there has been growth, and even if u don’t like her as a person (which is completely fine!!) you can still acknowledge that her music is good 😭 i’ll never forget how shocked i was at diet pepsi

I find it pretty strange when I see people online say "Addison" was a flop album. It literally took Addison from being a tiktoker who had dropped a few tracks that wasn't being taken particularly seriously to a legitimate popstar taken seriously by critics & grew her own fanbase shes now playing in front of live. "Headphones On" & "Fame Is A Gun" charted in dozens of country's & "Diet Pepsi" continues to do numbers. I would say the album did what Addison herself wanted it to do. Her futures very bright.
