Addictive Stranger is a mix of contradictions. Hi-fi Indie, To-the-point-prog-rock, and Melodic Experimental Pop can all be said to characterize this wayward music. 21 year-old Seth Tsui, the musician, artist, and engineer behind Addictive Stranger thrives in taking contrasting material from all styles and cultures and forming it into cohesive structures held together by his characteristic vocals and creative use of unconventional instrumentation.
When playing live, Addictive Stranger consists of Seth Tsui (Vocals, Guitar, Synth, Trombone), Christopher Granger (Guitar, Mandolin) Aaron Urbanski (Synths) Matthew Knochel (Bass) and Tony Gourley (Drums).
