David & Antoine
Before joining each other in 2000 David (34) and Antoine (31) developed Indie Rock experiences.
Years of influence of mythic Bands as Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Kraftwerk, and more recently Mum, Boards of Canada, Tortoise, created the spirit of their artistic style.
Acre4 creations process consists on “free running live music sessions” before sampling and mixing using several software and different technologies available.
First recorded in a french cottage and finished in their home studio “Rockspeed” is the result of these long sessions: it provides both, real and numerical sounds instruments: Laptop, Sampler, Guitar, Synthesizer, Vibraphone, melodica make part of Acre4 compositions.
