Ace King! When you think of this dude, the last thing you should think of is a pair of cards. Having grown up in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Ace King was able to grow up in a melting pot of cultures and traditions, but the most influential culture was a mixture of Spanish and Black. Born to hard working, sacrificing, and selfless Dominican parents, Ace King learned the values of hard work and dedication merely by observing the two people that brought him into this world. It’s these two values instilled in him that will enable him to bring memorable music to the masses. Forget uninspired rap music, forget forged rap, forget all of that completely, because that’s not something your going hear from Ace King. It’s all about QUALITY, its all about HIP HOP, and more importantly, its all about creating a circle where fans alike and unlike can share an amazing listening experience. Its taken many years, to get to the level where he is at, a level where he feels that he can comfortably present complete musical concepts through rhyme. His longtime friend Dom P felt the same way about Ace King’s lyrical ability, and they quickly got to work. In the woodwork, Music For Daze was being born. The term, coined by Dj Boy and Dom P, became a symbol of the group’s ability to constantly put out quality music. So, Dom P, Dj Boy, Alvarez, and Ace King are Music For Daze, and we are the example of how music should be done.
