"epistolares" is the debut studio album by Chilean singer-songwriter and rapper Fernanda Sepúlveda, known professionally as AKRIILA. It was released on 22 August 2024 through Lotus Records, with distribution by Warner Music Chile. The album contains 12 tracks and has a total runtime of approximately 30 minutes .

The album was shaped by AKRIILA’s personal writing process, drawing from hundreds of notes and poems on her phone that she transformed into lyrics and song concepts. She described the aesthetic of this project as unique: “it sounds like Akri, it reads like Feña, and it looks like AKRIILA.” Production credits feature eight different producers including Red Fingers, Egobloy, Vinco, Escesounds, Yopickupthephone!, Heartgaze, Klauzinho, and Taiko. The mixing was handled by Ignacio Portales, with mastering by Vicente Sanfuentes .

Musically, Epistolares blends elements of alternative pop, reggaeton, drum & bass, pop rap, industrial hip hop, hyperpop, folktrónica, and dream pop. Critics have likened its experimental sound to artists such as Rosalía, PinkPantheress, Grimes, Arca, and Julieta Venegas. The album has also been associated with the neoperreo movement and the broader trend of hyper-eclectic urban music.

The standout tracks include:

- “carta a mi papá”, a deeply intimate tonada.
- “teoría del tiempo” (feat. Gianluca), which fuses liquid drum & bass rhythms with melancholic dance energy.
- “superficial”, noted for its pop and drum & bass influences, drawing comparisons to PinkPantheress.
- “epitafio” (feat. FaceBrooklyn & Juicy BAE) and “worldw1de” (feat. Princesa Alba & Broke Carrey), striking a balance between neoperreo and pop rap.

Upon release, Epistolares received generally positive reception. Album of the Year reports a user score of 80/100 based on 859 ratings, with listeners praising its experimental vision and emotional depth. No Chambers described it as a "time capsule of some of the best ideas the 2020s had to offer," highlighting its genre-bending fusion and cultural significance within Chile's post-estallido social period.

The album’s title references “epistle,” meaning a personal letter, underlining the project’s themes of intimacy and emotional expression.

On 15 May 2025, a deluxe edition titled "epistolares+" was released, featuring additional collaborations with artists such as BB Trickz and Latin Mafia.

The cover features AKRIILA’s red hair and anime‑inspired aesthetic, reflects her influences from K‑pop and series like Another and Nana.
