Started as an experimental music project in Troy, MT during 2009 between friends Chris Balboni and Ben Palmer, A Desolate Calm has evolved into a brooding mix of ambience and post-rock, taking inspiration from artists such as Jakob, Antimatter, and A Silver Mt. Zion.
