Biography
Born in Düsseldorf, 21st December 1990, Filip Dragovic (2key) moved to serbia in 1992, where he grew up.
His father being a self-educated guitarist and drummer, he always had instruments around him since his childhood. This led to him starting to play the piano around 1995, which he also studied in primary music school. He later also started a course in musical engineering, as well as jazz drums, before he moved to England and had to abandon his official musical education.
His first contact with Drum & Bass, which has now become his main production focus, was through his cousins. His first influences were the tracks of DJ TeeBee, Ed Rush & Optical, as well as Bad Company and Black Sun Empire.
He was also strongly influenced by the playlists of some local DJs, especially the codex team(www.myspace.com/codexkernel) and Dj Kinetik (www.myspace.com/dj_kinetik).
His first production was mainly Hip-Hop, with his friend Ksavier Francuski, and a lot of experimental HipHop/Rock/Electronica with his friend Filip Ilic. Later he was involved in music for Video Games, on the team for the projects "The Elder Scrolls IV: The Dark Brotherhood Awakening" and "The Elder Scrolls IV: Mockers Guild".
But Since 2005/2006 Filip Dragovic mainly concentrates on the production of Drum & Bass, under the name "2key", but is also part of the ensembles Tripod(www.myspace.com/tripoddnb), Band in Action (www.myspace.com/BandinAction).
