James Lofton, one of Chicago’s hottest DJs spinning since 1983, producer, song writer & House Music Pioneer. The original founder / member of the group 2 House People, known today as 2 Houss People, that was formed in 1987. With their first release "Move My Body," mixed by ( WBMX ) Farley Jackmaster Funk of the hot mix 5 and produced by Danny "Sweet D" Wilson (Trax Records ), 2 Houss went on to Release "I’m Over You / Feel the Rhythm" (Neco Records ), "The Blue Print Mix" (Olio Entertainment ), "Baby Wants To Move You" (Gherkin Records ) which was produced arranged & mixed by J Lofton, this song made it to a article in dance music magizine as one of the best hip house records of the 90’s. D J Lofton is currently HOST & Dj of Funk You Up Sundays on Lowerlevelradio.com from 7pm -10pm While creating new music in House / Electronica, Other & Dance.
