After starting out making gothic rock music with The Fair Sex and venturing into making industrial metal with the German band Testify producer/musician Rascal Nikov (real name, Udo Hüppe) decided to branch out on his own to try his hand at creating EBM / techno / electro music for Talla 2XLC's Zoth Ommog label. The result was his one man project 1 AM and the only release, the CD Maxi-Single 1000 Beats. Although this particular project may not have borne much fruit the networking from it ultimately lead to the formation of the popular electronic / futurepop band Rotersand.
