Biography
…an ellipsis, hailing from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia, is set to change the way ambient music is approached. Creating soundscapes as dark as they are warm, they seek to immerse you with the static swirls of complete surrender. Surrender.
in 2006, …an ellipsis created three short noise interludes for the metal band ghost of a fallen age to be released on thier ep Rumors of the Secret War, which will be released on Tragic Hero Records on April 9, 2007.
Matt McMillan, Ghost's vocalist, contributed in writing and recording the spoken word parts for these tracks.
this is the first time …an ellipsis has used voice in thier work.
They are currently working on a full-length recording based on and inspired by the book House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, to be released on Medusa Head Records later this year. McMillian provided his voice again for the final track.
Myspace: ...an ellipsis
On June 6, 2008 …an ellipsis released this statement:
"after a year and a half of delays, Quivering Arrows will finally be released 9/2/08 on Medusa Head Records. there will only be 100 made, and each one will be slightly different from the rest. hand constructed packaging, slipcase, digipak, and hand numbered. it's going to be worth the wait. more information to come.
-Joshua"
Alas, due to more delays and more complications, Quivering Arrows has yet to have a proper release, but …an ellipsis remains confident that it will happen at some point in the future, and it will be worth the wait.
