Han Groo (한그루), real name Min Han Groo (민한그루), born on May 29, 1992, is a South Korean actress, singer and dancer from the label Climix Academy. Nicknamed the ‘UEE of Apgujung-dong,’ Han Groo has been trained in ballet, hip hop, and tap dance ever since she was little. She has won numerous dancing awards and competitions in America, including 1st place for hip hop at Dance USA, 2nd place for jazz at the Showbiz Dance Competition, 1st for hip hop at the Dancespot Dance Competition, and 3rd for tap at Starpower Dance Competition. Not only that, but she’s placed 3rd for lyrical dancing at American Stage, 2nd place for hip hop, 3rd for jazz, and 2nd for tap in 2005 at the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge.

She debuted with her debut mini-album, “Groo One” in January 2011. Her album is the work of the industry’s maestro, Joo Young Hoon, who’s known for his works with Uhm Jung Hwa, Fin.K.L, Kim Jong Kook, and KARA. Han Groo’s debut album features six fun and addictive songs, like her title track, “Witch Girl,” and “Paradise,” “SF,” and “Sh~! Secret.” The promotional song, “Witch Girl” was composed by a rookie composer discovered by Joo himself and is considered a fun shuffle rhythm dance track with an addictive loop. The music video for the song features vibrant colors that bring out Han Groo’s dual charms for sexiness and innocence as well as showcases her explosive energy and powerful choreography.
