Biography
조하랑 (Jo Ha-rang) born on June 23, 1984 as 조진주 (Jo Jin-joo) is a South Korean singer and actress under JT Media Vision. In 2002 Harang changed her name to 조민아 (Jo Min-ah) and joined girl group Jewelry alongside member Seo In-young with their 2nd album "Again". Harang stayed with Jewelry for 4 years and left the group in December 2006 in order to persue an acting career.
Since her exit from Jewelry, Harang has been participating in musicals, namely "Love In The Rain" and "On Air" which also featured Alex of Clazziquai Project. She has been attending Dongguk University College of Arts for the past few years and she has been getting A+ grades and has been awarded a scholarship for her academic excellence.
In March of 2010 she had changed her name to 조하랑 (Jo Harang) and made her debut as a solo artist on October 20, 2010 with the digital single "Standing Alone". She has been recieving vocal training from Park Sun-joo and had also written the songs on her debut single.
