MONSTA X (몬스타엑스) is a South Korean boygroup formed through the reality survival program NO.MERCY by Starship Entertainment. The group is currently composed of Shownu (셔누), Minhyuk (민혁), Kihyun (기현), Hyungwon (형원), Joohoney (주헌) and I.M, with former member Wonho leaving the group in October 2019. They officially debuted on May 14, 2015 with their mini album TRESPASS. The group name has the double meaning of 'the monsters to take over K-POP'. MON in French means 'MY', STA means 'STAR' and X means 'UNKNOWN' and is equivalent to 'MY STAR X'. View wiki
