Biography
룰라, also known as Roo'Ra (which stands for Roots of Reggae), is a hip-hop/dance group that began in 1994. Since then they have produced eight albums, the last one came out in 2001. Now they're back in 2009 with their ninth album called "A9AIN".
The primary members include Kim Ji Hyun (김지현) as lead female vocalist, Ko Young Wook (고영욱) as male vocalist, and Lee Sang Min (이상민) as male rapper. Other members include Shin Jung Hwan (신정환) who left after the first album (later becoming half of the duo group Country Kko Kko) and Chae Ri Na (채리나) who left for the group Diva (but would later return for the group's comeback in 1999).
Lee Sang Min is considered the main force behind the group and has acted as main producer for many other Korean groups like Q.O.Q., X-Large, Lee Hye Young, Chakra, S#arp, Shin Jung Hwan's Country Kko Kko, and Chae Ri Na's Diva.
