Biography
Kurosawa Dia is one of the nine main characters of Love Live! Sunshine!!. She is a third year in Uranohoshi Girls' High School. Her image color is red. She is a member of AZALEA, a sub-unit under Aqours.
Background: She is the third-year student who leads the student council. She is from an old family involved in fishing management whose name is well-known around the area.
Dia has a younger sister named Kurosawa Ruby.
Due to her character, she naturally attains the position of Student Council President at Uranohoshi Girls' High School. She is hesitant to become a school idol at first, but she loses to Takami Chika in a match, and fulfills her promise to do so. This is compounded by the fact that her younger sister Ruby was already being "held hostage" as part of the idol group. With both her and Ruby in the idol group, however, she refuses to accept anything less than victory in the Love Live! competition.
Personality: Being prideful and a perfectionist, she cannot abide when things are done sloppily or incorrectly. She minds small details a lot, as far as going on tirades regarding the unorthodox reading of certain Kanji. Due to her upbringing, she speaks in a very refined and formal style of Japanese.
At the beginning of the series, Dia seems cool towards the idea of school idols, and chastizes Chika, You and Hanamaru for not knowing much at all about what an idol is~
Clubs and Hobbies: She is Uranohoshi Girls' High School's Student Council President. She is skilled in playing the Yamatogoto, singing, and Kitsuke, the art of wearing a kimono. Her hobbies are watching movies and reading. She used to be a fan of school idols and μ's.
