Biography
Tivo-saki (orignal name Tavon Armstrong) was born in the John Hopkins hospital, on November 20th 1993. He lived with his mother, father, grandmother, and his little sister, until the age of two, where due to certain issues with his parents, he'd live with his mother. His father moved back to his home town in Chicago, Illinois. Tivo-saki always had a thing for music, atleast thats what he'd hear from most of his family members. It was of no surprise, even though his mother was deaf, even if she couldn't hear the melody of the music she would always turn up the music volume to the max, and feel the bass of the drum. His father wore a hearing aid but he was the same way. As Tivo-saki went to school he'd soon grow an interest in language arts and music. He'd like language arts only for its poetry section of the course, soon he grew to like the entire thing but he liked poetry the most. As far as music went it was a given. It wasnt until the age of seventeen that he'd move to Chicago to live with his father. There he met his brother (SetBoy Kam) and his cousin (ION). Shortly after he had moved there, their (Tivo, ION, and Kam) first plan was to get a studio, though it took some time. After some time of trial and error they had created their first studio. It wasnt long before they began making music and at that time they were using windows media to create their videos. Over time they bought better equipment and got better with their craft. Tivo soon would create what he called his first solo "masterpiece" with "Final Fantasy" using a producer's (SpaceDolphin) melody that he came across on soundcloud. As time went on he would soon go out to do a performance out in Fort Collins, Colorado. Tivo mentioned in several interviews and blogs about who is influences were but over time they'd change. It had got to the point where the only artists he listen to are Himself, ION, Kam, Bona El Zee and a few others on soundcloud. He now resides Chicago's southside making music.
