"Shokotan☆BEST――(°∀°)――!" is the first best album released by Nakagawa Shoko. The album contains songs previously included on their singles, mini-albums and albums. Originally the album was titled Nakagawa Shoko Best "Ikitekita Akashi" (中川翔子ベスト「生きてきた証」), but it was changed to the actual when the tracklist was announced. The best album was released in four different versions, a 2CD+Live DVD+Photobook Limited Edition, a 2CD+Live DVD Limited Edition, 3CD Non Stop Mix! CD Music Edition and a 2CD Regular Edition. The four new songs, "Sorairo Days -Mandarin ver.-", "Horizont", "apple universe" and "soufflé secret", were previously released as a digital singles on Recochoku featuring the 2CD Regular Edition cover art.
