Kikuo, also known as Asian melancholic, is a freelance track-maker who is often regarded for his high sense of music arrangement/composition.
His illustrator is si_ku (she is also the vocalist for Ikitama), though for some of his albums, like the KIKUOWORLD series, he illustrated them himself. He mainly uses Hatsune Miku in his Vocaloid songs, and has composed for Touhou arranges in circles such as Iemitsu. and 俺++ (Includeore), video games and idol songs.
Though he has been making music since 2003, with his first song being Bomber (from when he went by the name "kikk"), he released his first full-length album, 夢の鐘 (Bell of the Dream), in 2009.
He has worked with many vocalists such as 白石なごむ (Nagomu Shiraishi), 蒼咲雫 (Aosaki Shizuku), 赤卵 (redegg), 花たん (Hanatan) (you may know her from the unit which Kikuo is in with her, きくおはな (KikuoHana)), 宮下遊 (Miyashita Yuu), ココ (Koko), ななひら (Nanahira), and more.
