Biography
"Мясцовы Час" (translates from belarusian as "Local time") is a belarusian hard rock formed in 1987 in Navapolatsk (blr. Наваполацк) by Alies Kuzmin (Алесь Кузьмін) and Viachaslau Makas (Вячаслаў Макас).
Firstly their songs were in russian. After the band made it's first demo called "Местное время" (russian for "Мясцовы Час") they get acquainted with Мроя and under influence of their music "Мясцовы Час" started singing in belarusian.
In 1991 the band released it's the most successful album "Наша ўскраіна" and took "The Best Band" price in the primory belarusian rock festival "Basowiszcza". In 1992 "Мясцовы Час" tries to write a demo for swedish label, but the band splits due to personal conflicts.
In 1997 Alies Kuzmin and other ex-members of the band reformed "Мясцовы Час", wrote a new album named "Халі-галі" and made some performances (one of them at the national pop-festival "Славянскі Базар").
In 2001 Ales Kuzmin moved to Germany and the band splited again.
In 2006 the song "Я жыў" ("I lived") was placed in legendary album "Песьні свабоды" ("Songs of Freedom")
