Biography
Beltinci-Prekmurje, Slovenia ( 2003 – present)
Štefan Kovač Marko banda (Škm banda) is four-piece »post-jazz« instrumental band from Beltinci – Slovenia. Their songs are short and "air-tight", there's a lot of rhythm-melody changes and quiet/loud parts. Their music could be very emotional, soft and dreamy, as well as drivish, angry, explosive and uncompromised. They developed recognizable sound with complex happy/sad (mostly clean) guitars and “groovy” rhythm-section.
Members of a group are also active in other bands or projects – Hexenbrutal, Bekko, Ludovik Material, Dani Kavaš in Narodno zabavni terorizem… and on local “Prekmurje-scene”.
