In The Woods – Following a 14 year writing hiatus, we are happy to welcome for an exclusive show in the UK for many, many years this fantastic Norwegian talent. Dark, progressive and avantgarde metal at its finest, In The Woods tracked three ageless albums on top of their classic demo and rounded off with an album that reinterpreted and collected rare tracks before calling it a day in 2003. Fast forward to 2014 and the band re-incorporating with an invigorated line up of original members, which sees this fantastic artist working on a new album. Music in its purest form…..

Mourning Beloveth
Ireland’s great death doom heroes return to London for a long over due visit. With a new album on a new label on the imminent horizon, we look forward to a somber, heavy performance detailing their new opus.

Ataraxie – Eight humongous albums in and the focus remains on extreme funeral death doom heavy enough to shift continents. This rare live ritual for the UK is an exclusive so expect things to be ratcheted up to beyond gloomy. Having recently reissued a 10th anniversary of ‘Slow Transcending Agony’, you should expect a live experience to match.

Sardonis

Bossk – Stiflingly loud, Bossk will be airing tracks from their new album, their first for Deathwish Records following on from their support slots for AmenRa and Converge. We are super excited to be able to host the band, sounding as huge as ever!

Black Moth – Black Moth rose from the Leeds underground scene, taking their trash culture fixations and their love for Stooges squalor and Sabbath sulphur to create an onslaught of monumental riff sorcery and serpentine grace. Having just opened for Sisters Of Mercy and with a plethora of supports under their belt, hold on to your dentures or they’ll be rattled away.

Sea Bastard –Hailing from Brighton, Sea Bastard are a rising favorites of all things loud and heavy in the UK. Bringing a sonic wall reminiscent of bands like Corrupted, Ramesses and Burning Witch to an achingly slow groove is both a visceral and must see experience, as those that caught them, and survived, at Temples or Desertfest over the past few years will attest to.

Falloch – Scots post-metal inventors Falloch absolutely blew us away with their support slot with Lantlos, and latest album, ‘This Island, Our Funeral’ has woven its way into our conciousness. Heavy, experimental - nothing this band can do is wrong.

Autumnal
Autumnal are one of the cornerstones of Iberian doom metal, having established way back in 1998. Their upcoming second album promises to bring their brand of doom to the fore with a debut UK appearance. Equal parts intensity, atmosphere and crushing heaviness, we expect nothing but a somewhat large demolition of the audience.

Darkher – Oozing deep mysticism and frozen melodies in sparse but haunting song structures, Darkher haunt and mesmerize. With a stellar EP having rave reviews, this is doom on a quieter, more menacing front. No need for massive chunky distortions, just atmospheric entrancement.

Slabdragger – Hailing from Croydon, Slabdragger rammed out the room at the Desertscene Summer All Dayer with a sound so thick it was akin to being covered in tar. The groove is there, the heaviness is there, the sludge is there. They also play some some faster material, but if it’s not the slow stuff that saps your energy, the burning psychedelia of some riffs that will take you instead.

Bathsheba
We have no idea what is in the water in this country but the moment we heard their debut EP, we knew they had to play this event. With a great single out on Svart Records and an album to follow in 2016, Bathsheba will pull you from the depths of the charcoal mountains and into the oath of doom.

Coltsblood – Hailing from the north of England and Scotland, Coltsblood have pretty much devastated every stage they have played on, getting ecstatic reviews for their noisy, dense and shape shifting sound from across Europe. Literally throwing all manner of blackened doom at your with every ounce of pure power at their disposal. Don’t expect to be the same after this set.

Torpor – Londoners Torpor are a bit of an ace in the sleeve – sludgey, doomy hardcore oppressiveness that pretty much wants to turn your bones into powder. Having released their debut earlier this year, we reckon they’re going to bring the misery!

Officium Triste
We are very proud to welcome back our Dutch friends, for a long overdue London performance. Now in their 21st year , Officium Triste laid the ground for melodic death doom, realeasing some of the early highlights of the scene that in recent years have seen reissue, detailing their dark moods and outstanding melodies. Expect none more painstakingly gloomy.

Malthusian – Intertwining extreme forms of black, death and doom into a tone so dark, black doesn’t cover it, is a delicious talent especially when wielded so enthusiastically. Malthusian NEED to be seen live. Having watched Malthusian lay waste to the Dome some time ago, it’s a long overdue and welcome recurrence that we gleefully await. Their latest EP will sear you.

Eye Of Solitude – Londoners Eye Of Solitude carry the crown of the next up and coming funeral death doom band from the capital. Using extremes that can only come from negativity and suffering, shows are crushingly morose, expressing all the madness of the feelings of distress and pain.

The Death Letter – Our first acoustic act comes to the fore this year with the folky, tinged, dirty doomy blues that is The Death Letter. With influences that draw from Howlin Wolf through to 16 Horsepower to Clutch, we are pretty stoked to have them on board!
