Black Oak Ranch
Laytonville, United States
The 17th Annual Kate Wolf Music Festival , takes place June 29th, 30th & July 1st, at the beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. It is one of Northern California’s most loved summer events and has been called “the best, the single best festival.” KWMF has once again assembled a potent lineup of some of the best folk, bluegrass, blues, and R&B artists.
The festival is just a three hour drive north of San Francisco and two hours south of Arcata. Boosting a large stage in the Main Music Meadow plus three other intimate stage areas, workshops, kids’ area, premier onsite camping, food court, music jamming area, and flowing creek, makes the annual KWMF a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a weekend with friends, family, and lovers of great music. Black Oak Ranch is home to the Hog Farm and Camp Winnarainbow-a circus camp for kids and has hosted many world-class events over the years including Earthdance – The Global Festival For Peace. KWMF has garnered a reputation as a “destination festival” for music lovers with its extensive grounds covering approximately 150 acres. This is a “green festival” and the event is powered by biodiesel generators.
