The complete list of performers on the „Priredba“ summer festival has finally been published, thus confirming the latest Internet rumours – Pendulum, the hottest drum’n'bass name of the moment, will be headlining the festival on their first ever Croatian appearance.
Other headliners include legendary punk band NoMeansNo, reggae wonder Zion Train, and drum’n'bass dark lords Bad Company UK. The two-day open air festival is taking place in camp Preluk, Rijeka/Croatia, a location unique for many reasons. Preluk is a beautiful secluded bay surrounded by a thick forrest and a pebbly beach, and yet it is close enough to the city to be easily accessible by car, bus or train. Numerous workshops, presentations and sports activities are another advantage of „Priredba“, and will be held on the festival ground during the event.
The driving forces behind festival are RiRock and Masa:kru, local youth associations that play an important role in the blooming Rijeka nightlife.
The first day of „Priredba“ is all about electronic music, with drum’n'bass in the limelight. Pendulum, BCUK and MC Verse are the main stars, joined by local djs Sven Nalis, Funk Guru and live-act Disco’n'Action, while Ajs Nigrutin & Timbe of the cult Serbian band Bad Copy will bring a fresh breath of hip hop.
The second day of „Priredba“ is guitar-oriented, with diverse genres such as punk, dub, metal, and rock taking turns on the main stage. The headliners are NoMeansNo and Zion Train, and other performes include Germany’s indie band Monochrome, ska orchestra Talco, and many renowned Croatian bands.
