2009 was a huge year for the guys at The Garden Festival, not least because they decided to run their in-house and hugely revered event across a mind-bogglingly good two weekends, but also because it heralded the start of the world’s first and wholly unique – they think! – festival season. Both are back in the same guise – but refined, polished and tweaked. It’s a constant, ongoing process, creating a harmonious festival site which blossoms not only for the Garden Festival itself, but all of the other events who occupy their weekends of sun-dappled and aural-infused fun in lovely little Petrcane, a 900-year old fishing village imbued with so much charm and bucolic vibes it is hard not to fall in love with the place.
