Description

Teenage Cancer Trust’s concerts have fast become one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the annual British music calendar. Now into their ninth year, the concerts, which were the brainchild of Teenage Cancer Trust Patron and The Who frontman Roger Daltrey CBE, have featured some of the world’s biggest bands treading the boards at London’s world famous Royal Albert Hall. The aim of the shows is to raise funds for desperately needed teenage cancer units. Teenage Cancer Trust units, which are all built in NHS hospitals, combine an expert team and the best possible therapy with the best possible environment for teenagers and young adults. And by focusing on quality of life, they can change a teenager’s outlook and give them the fight and attitude they need to beat cancer.antony and the johnsons
