Seven musicians, two DJs and an enigmatic female vocalist seduce audiences with a thrilling mix of classical tango, chilled-out electronic beats and turntable wizadry whilst stunning original film projections veil the stage. Live, Gotan Project surpasses any music act you’ve seen before.
This work, which features music from their most recent album Lunatico, is their most accomplished yet and places a stronger emphasis on the more organic roots of tango. With a unique blend of Parisian production and Buenos Aires tradition, it brilliantly evokes smoky Thirties bars as well as today’s nightclubs.
