There is no blame, but nether was there a legitimate tranaction. I am sure LIVENATION has heard of teh term class action law suit. Radiohead would do the same, if they showed up and didn't get paid. No matter how fun it was to play.

When a person buys a ticket, it is a commercial tranaction where one side pays money up front, and the other promises to admit the buyer to the event. The transacion is completed on the day of the event, not before. It doesn't matter if an act of God occurred, the transaction was not completed. The venue didn't admit the customer, the money doesn't get transferred. There is no blame, but neither w

we were traveling in the monsoon and bad traffic for more than 4 hours, trudged through what was literally a moat with water up to our ankles and got there in time to hear the end of idioteque. after the show, we wandered the parking lot trying to find the car for almost an hour in the freezing rain. i was soaked to the bone, very sick, didn't even come home and missed work the next day... but i s

Note to self: Never plan on getting a ride after a show at the Nissa Pavillion when there's a torrential downpour. Wet. Very wet. 2/3 miles of walking.

I was there... right there in my car with my $80 tickets stuck in traffic. To make it worse, this also happened to me in 2001 at Bull Run. Worst night ever!!!

The key is to buy the VIP parking, it costs $30, but you get right out of the parking lot.

I guess my friend and I were a couple of the lucky few. We got there around 4pm because we had pit tix. The rain got bad after we'd been there for a bit. Luckily we had umbrellas, but they didn't help much to keep us dry. By the time the gates opened, we were drenched. The weather was obviously epic, but Radiohead was even more epic. My first Radiohead show ever. Amazing! :D

that was one of the best experiences of my life. i would do the traffic and the mud and the rain and the cold and getting there at the end of weird fishes, which is one of my favorite songs, all over again. dancing in the rain to radiohead was honestly like a religious experience. dancing like crazy also kept me warm. when we got there i was so frustrated bc we we late, but now i am so thankful b/

My ticket dissolved, they almost didn't let me into the pit. Then I almost passed out because of hypothermia and I had to be carried over the railing and taken to the medical tent until Liars started. I got there at 4:00 with no jacket because I was too stupid to check the weather report.

WHAT A JOKE!!!!! i swore that I would never ever go back to Nissian. The only shot to see Radiohead after many years of trying. The show blew my expectations away. They are a very tight band and are exceptional live. As for nissian, that place should be shut down, the people are IDIOTS, The Parking is a FUCKING JOKE!!!!!We did not get out of the parking lot until 2:30am, I will Never go back...

My ticket dissolved, too : ( I second the guy who's sad about missing all I need, I shouldn't complain because I've seen them a bunch of times, but I really wanted to hear that live :/

my friends and i had pit tickets, getting to the venue at 4pm. we waited in the freezing rain until we got into the pit at 645pm. i've never been so cold and wet in my life. horrible venue. i feel so bad for the people who couldn't get into the show, because it was absolutely amazing... i've seen radiohead 12 times and this show was definitely in the top 2.

cant fucking believe i missed all i need. i live a 20 minute drive away from nissan and go there all the time but it took 3 hours to get there. when i opened the car door once finally parked i heard idiotque starting up and i ran as fast as i could only to have some dousche bag pat me down for like 20 seconds. there were empty seats and the staff wouldnt let people in the pavilion...what pieces of

Nissan Pavilion needs to get their shit together. Should've been there at 8:00, finally got in during Everything in its Right Place--happy with what I saw, but I can't believe I missed what I did. Nissan Pavilion is not equipped to handle a sold out crowd in less than perfect weather.

This definitely the most comments I've seen following a show. However, in a way I believe all of the shit that happened before getting to show(barely making it 4 songs into radiohead's set, god knows how i found my seat)-traffic, car accident, blah,blah-- made radiohead's perfomance just that much better. Once I found my seat, I was blown away with Weird Fish/Arpeggi. My problems disintegrated.

i agree with everyone on here. even though the weather and nissan pavilion were absolutely horrible, i still think it was totally worth it. unbelieveable show. the highlights for me were spinning plates and planet telex.

i left at 1100 and we didnt get home till 330 in DC. the concert sounded amazing, minus being wet and cold (and sober also). i will never go back to that venue again. the security sucked and traffic was horrible ( i was warned in advance about both). sorry for everyone readings this that didnt make it in...but i that was my 4th radiohead show ever, and it was by far the best concert i have seen

i left DC @ about 5:15 and we got to the show at around 7. i had never been to this venus before, but i didnt feel as though traffic was that bad pulling up at around 6:30-7. we had indoor seating and walked in at about 800 to catch the last two songs of the liars. there were a lot of empty seats inside throughout the whole show. i actually moved up becuase of it. the traffic leaving was horrible,

I purchashed my tix several months before this show, but unfortunately I didn't know just how poorly Nissan and the surrounding area are equipped to handle mass amounts of traffic (and rain!). It was supposed to be a 23 minute drive, but due to road closings etc it took us over 3 hours to get there. We were able to catch about 40 minutes of the concert but because we were soaked and practically hy

I think more tickets were sold then the venue could accomodate. For people who (unlike myself) actually made it in, were the seats filled? There were many cars behind and in front of me that were turned away, and I assume they braved the weather because they had bought tickets.

(sorry i'm going on for so long.) ...I'm so happy I was able to see such an amazing band + want to see them perform again under better weather circumstances. Terribly sorry to those who were stuck in traffic. I Hope Nissan will give you a refund.

I was on the lawn the whole time, stood in the rain for a total of 6 hours, drunk fat girl crushed my toes and nearly knocked me down multiple times, didn't get home till 2:30 am.But in my opinion, it was all worth it.Radiohead were brilliant and the lights were beautiful. (cont'd above)

I made it into the show but staying there was an endurance challenge. Waiting in the parking lot to leave for over 3 hours was also a pleasant experience.

Nissan failed miserably at trying to accommodate everyone being cold and wet and in large numbers. I don't care who plays there now, I'm not going. Also Live Nation can get fucked! No offense to Radiohead though. They were amazing and addressed everyone's misery several times. If you're coming through the area again though, make a point not to have a show at that god damn place.

Fucking terrible experience. Concert was fine, but because of the floods and blocked roads, I had to walk two miles (took around one hour and a half) in the freezing cold rain just to get to my ride afterwards. Miserable. I'm getting a cold as we speak.

Even for a show at Nissan, the Traffic situation last night was VERY bad. It usually only takes me 3 hours to travel there and back. last night it took me 7 hours.

This show was tribute to Radiohead. There isn't a band on this planet that could have turned a venue as foul as Nissan (will never buy a Nissan) or weather conditions as horrid into such an artistic triumph. Radiohead was mindblowing sonically, visually, and emotionally. They inspired this massive crowd into a numbed awe. Long live Radiohead! Boycott Nissan Pavilion.

What a clusterfuck. Wish I could have enjoyed Radiohead, but was too miserable from the entire experience. I was one of the unlucky ones getting out. We sat in the parking lot for 2 and a half hours before we could even get out. Left the show at 10:45pm, didn't get home till 2:30am. That's what I get for giving Nissan a second chance, I guess.

if it makes anyone feel anybetter thom yorke dedicated the show to the people that couldnt make it. i also wished they played longer but theres these stupid quiet laws which prohibit nissan pavilion to have shit going on past 11pm. its bullshit. did you know the beatles very last concert was also cut short by quiet laws?

Also drove down from NYC for this show... met up with my friends in Manassas and spent over 5 hours in traffic, reaching the gate at 11pm, only to get rear-ended (no damage) and have a security guard tell me to turn around and leave because the show was over. I'd love to have a chat with whoever was in charge of directing traffic.
