Australian melodic metalcore heroes, POLARIS, are back with their third album, ‘Fatalism’. The album builds on the bleak imagery and hard-hitting soundscapes permeating their ARIA Award-nominated 2020 release, ’The Death of Me’. Rather than wallow or stagnate, ‘Fatalism’ powerfully holds up a proverbial mirror while also galvanising their trademark blend of melodic metalcore, lush post-rock, electronic flourishes and beyond. Across it’s 11-tracks, ‘Fatalism’ wields emphatic relatability and explosive arrangements. This upcoming 2024 marks their first Bristol headline since their excellent 2022 SWX headline and their following main-stage set at Download Festival 2023.
