Description
Lighting designer and live visual artist Emmanuel Biard (EMN) and engineer David Leonard premiere an installation piece commissioned by FutureEverything and RNCM, built specifically for the RNCM Studio Theatre. The piece features mirrors, mechanics, lasers, optics and new structures, consisting of 2 gigantic circular flexible mirrors sealed into a frame with vacuum pumps. The Hall is an investigation into the sensation of how scale and distance are perceived and judged by the human brain. It invites the audience to place themselves into the path of the light beams, into the void of this collimated reflection loop, framed by a thin wall of light.
On Sunday 30th March at 18:30, the installation will feature a live performance by electronic composer and musician Evian Christ and special guests. Tickets are free but must be obtained in advance from the RNCM.
Venue: RNCM Studio Theatre
Presented by FutureEverything and RNCM
This event is supported by ECAS, a European Commission Culture Fund project.
