The quartet has performed to great acclaim at several of our Chamber Music Festivals and its recordings of the complete string quartets of Felix Mendelssohn have been widely praised. Tonight’s programme includes the composer’s final quartet, dedicated to his late sister, alongside quartets by Mozart and Shostakovich.
