TCR BBQ – The Vinyl Frontier -FREE Party
Officially our last ever TCR BBQ at The Lockside Lounge. After eleven wonderful years we are calling time on this institution at the glorious Camden bar that has been our home from the beginning.
This will be a really special event with a ridiculous line up of dj's – and as a extra treat everyone will be playing vinyl only. We’ve been inundated with requests from dj’s to play, Barry Ashworth (of Dub Pistols) said ‘It would be an honour to play at the TCR BBQ’. So we booked him!
Alongside the usual TCR stalwarts such as Rennie Pilgrem we also have friends of the label including Evil Nine and Terry Hooligan.
People regularly fly from all over Europe for this party, expect mojito-induced madness on the patio (in the sun?) and dancing until the small hours.
And yes - as always, it will be free entry so you’re advised to arrive early as it’s always a roadblock by late afternoon.
Asked why they were calling time on such a successful event Rennie Pilgrem said ‘We wanted to end on a high and what better way than to go back to the source of all dance music –Vinyl’
