Description
Erlend Oye and Eirik Glambek Bøe – aka Kings of Convenience – have managed just three albums in a career that has spanned over a decade. The title of their 2001 debut Quiet Is the New Loud came to define the acoustic reaction to the rock revival and saw the duo categorised alongside Elbow and Turin Brakes. Riot on an Empty Street followed in 2004 and five years later they released their most recent album Declaration Of Dependence. In addition to their appearances on the Laneway festival tour the acoustic duo will also play a special one off sideshow at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall.
