Description

UTB #17...a last minute show for EMMA HALLOWS and SOPHIE PORTER!

Emma and Sophie are going on tour, so we're chucking a show together for them in Manchester to kick it off right. Joining them will be Crywank Bazz Jar (in his debut acoustic performance) and Chapter Eleven.

No door tax this time, but I'll be bringing a pint pot around for any donations. Cool?

----------------------------------------------------

Emma Hallows - http://emmahallows.bandcamp.com/

Emma plays acoustic tunes influenced by the likes of the Gaslight Anthem and so on. Recently she's been writing songs that I say rip off Sam Russo. She agrees. Now mentioning "radio" in a song, just like Brian Fallon!

FFO: Crazy Arm T-shirts

Sophie Porter - http://music.real-records.co.uk/album/sophie-porter

Acoustic awesome from Norwich/Great Yarmough. Released her self titled, debut EP through Aaahh!!!! Real Records in June and it is rad.

Crywank - http://crywank.bandcamp.com/

The world's finest sadcore musician. If you want to be utterly depressed and thoroughly entertained at the same time, Crywank is for you! James is now being accompanied by his box playing assistant (who's name i have, shamefully, forgotten). Rad stuff for sad people!

Bazz Jar - N/A (...apparently)

Bazz Jar is a mysterious alley cat of man. First rising to prominence in the 50's Detriot b-bop scene, he went underground for much of the 60's and early 70's. Creating a new form of acid beat, he resurfaced in Memphis in the 80's at a member of the Billy Striken String Quartet only fake his own death due to tax reasons. He's notoriously shady and is often seen wearing his trademark crocodile skin assless chaps.
This is his debut acoustic performance.

Chapter Eleven

Chapter Eleven (a.k.a. Asher Baker) wrote the most amazing description of Emma ever. Therefore, I'm not even going to try and be clever. He is good. He plays a guitar. You should see him play.
