heathens! the astoria is beautiful just the way it is ta very much, and yeah that bird and her fella barged right by me to get to the front she also tried flicking the horns but went with pinky and thumb which i think is the international hand gesture for 'telephone,' apart from them the crowd were immense, it's amazing how quiet so many people can be for the subtle bits, pats on backs all round

Eluvium's setlist was Under The Water It Glowed, Radio Ballet, Taken, Repose in Blue, as long as I'm not missing anything. Both acts were mindblowingly good.

I'm convinced the 3rd song was Memorial - this is what thinking too much does to you

Does anyone know what the third song actually was? I know the second one was Catastrophe and the Cure, but then I failed to name the third one and it was the real set highlight for me

cool, cool. they also played Memorial, right? 3rd or 4th track I think... dunno how right I am, I tend to confuse some of their tracks :) thanks anyway!

Oh, and EITS's own setlist, from my slightly scattered memory, so some of these may be a bit questionable. Fairly sure this is close to right, at least. Tracks without a (?) are firm, if not in order between opener and closer.. Yasmin The Light Catastrophe and the Cure(?) Your Hand In Mine(?) Greet Death (very unsure) The Birth and Death of the Day Welcome, Ghosts(?) The Only Moment We Were Alone

The Astoria is a dump! I was really disappointed with the sound quality. In the centre, about 20 feet back from the stage it was dreadful. It sounded a bit better from the bar area. There's a lot of subtlety and delicacy in the high guitar work, and to me it just sounded like the whole set was being played at the end of a long tunnel. Can't wait to get to ATP and hear them properly. :-(

radio ballet is a beautiful song although...the sound quality wass really poor for half of it....as for explosions...wat can i say apart from magnificent...fraid i dont kow the setlist...the only complaint i wud make tis that they denied us an encore but oh well....i also enjoyed their onstage antics very much...especially the guitarist on the far right not sure his name:)

anyone know what eluvium's set was? I know he played Radio Ballet, Indoor Swimming at the Space Station, Repose in Blue and I think Taken. but I dunno if I'm right. also not sure of EITS' setlist... if anyone knows, do tell :) surprisingly or not, I really wish Matt's set was longer...

I am listening to Your Hand In Mine and it has just made me look forward to this gig even more. I feel like im going to explode! YES! Anyone know anything about camera rules Astoria (i've been a few times but not with my camera, and i know they're stingy about bag searches - for the record, i won't get in peoples way, the camera stays against my face, not in the air)

I've just realised this is on the night I come back from Disneyland ... it'll be worth exhausting myself that much more though, their shows are supposed to be phenomenal.
